The default remote desktop client within ubuntu seems to work fine (no keyboard issues), but once you use a different VNC server, its a no go. The following forum thread is where I've found the most information, and I just recently posted on there to see if anyone else has heard of a fix: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=382441&page=2 Also of note is that this is a known bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vino/+bug/112955 And it appears to have been "fixed" with a patch. Don't know HOW to apply that patch, however. Let me know what you come up with if you get it working!
